We only work with reputable and ethical partners to ensure that both our Landlord clients and Tenants – the future Homeowners – are protected. For example:

ARLA (the Association of residential Letting Agents).

We are ARLA registered. It is advisable to only use ARLA accredited Letting Agents to manage property, as this requires an Agent to prove that they have robust systems and processes in place to manage properties effectively. They are also required to work to their Code of Practice.

Even more importantly though, ARLA’s Client Money Protection Scheme protects both Landlords and tenants in the event that an Agent misappropriates rent, deposit or other funds. Sadly there have been many instances where people have suffered financial loss when dealing with Letting Agents not accredited by ARLA.

PROPERTY OMBUDSMAN

National Property Group and its sister company, AQuickSale.com Ltd are members of the Property Ombudsman scheme for Lettings and Sales respectively, which, in the event of a complaint, binds us to compensate as required by the Property Ombudsman in the event of a claim being upheld.

Contingent on acceptance into this scheme is supplying the Property Ombudsman that we have all the required insurances in place to protect tenants and clients financial interests.

MAZARS

Mazars are a well known international Accountancy practice and the 9th largest in the UK. They audit our accounts to make sure we comply with the ARLA requirements, and keep trust funds and client funds separate. They are required to submit an annual report to ARLA confirming our compliance.

GI CONSULTANTS

Although property sales and Letting is not regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA), we retain GI Consultants to advise us. Their standard role is to advise FSA regulated businesses on compliance requirements and we believe it is in ours and all our customer’s interests to operate to similar guidelines and standards. We also take our responsibilities to “Treat Customers Fairly” (TCF) seriously and comply with their recommendations.

Yorkshire’s top Legal firm with offices across Yorkshire, and responsible for advising on the various contracts and agreements we use, again based on the principle of TCF.
